Most enquiries are one or the other. The work, the pricing and the first conversation differ.
An audience, and a method that lives in your head. Nothing your members can run themselves between your posts. We encode the method, build the product around it, and put the billing, access and release cadence in place so it compounds instead of resetting every month.
It works, but the edge is thin, the data is generic, retention leaks and nobody can say which part members actually value. We take the product on, raise the quality of what it offers, and rebuild the funnel around the parts that earn renewal.
Your framework encoded as something your audience can actually run: indicators, screeners, dashboards, Expert Advisors and packaged algo products, on TradingView, MetaTrader or a platform of its own.
The client-facing side institutional desks expect: backtesters, copy traders, execution systems, strategy libraries and account analysis, built to the same standard whether the end user is a member or a manager.
Full brokerage and trading platform applications. We carry the build and the liability for what we ship, which is the part most product teams cannot take on.
Real market and macro data pipelines behind the product, not the generic feeds most trading platforms ship with. Contextual, instrument-aware data is what separates a product people renew from one they try once.
Billing, tiers and entitlement handled by the platform. Then client data tracked through the funnel so you can see where members drop, close the loose ends and raise the value of what they are paying for.
Structured lessons, member community and a continuous release cadence, so the product compounds rather than launching once and going quiet.
Camel brought fifteen years of cycle analysis, a 40,000-strong audience and no software. We automated the manually executed rules, then built the whole product: a TradingView cycle indicator, a live macro dashboard, a structured education library, community infrastructure and subscription billing across monthly, annual and lifetime tiers. We took equity rather than a fee, and we still run it.
"They give me full control over my own ideas whilst ensuring my workload is minimised. An easy 10/10 experience."
Market research on X is buried under engagement bait, and there is no way to tell a consistently useful account from a loud one. So we built the tool we wanted: a Chrome extension that filters the timeline down to one market, scores the accounts you follow on four dimensions, and keeps every idea you save in one searchable library.
We co-own the products we build with partners, which is the reason we have a view on what sells rather than only on what compiles.
See it at tickertape.co.uk →Fifteen years of manual cycle rules turned into a subscription platform with over 2,300 paying members, built on an audience that already existed.
Around 70,000 stocks and ETFs turned into a searchable research site with screening, articles and company pages.
Discord, Telegram and email forwarding with reply threading, edit propagation and full media support.
Our own Chrome extension: filters the timeline by market, rates accounts and keeps saved ideas searchable.
Where a product is public we show it: CF Trading, Ticker Tape and iDividendStocks all have real screens on their case studies. Client trading systems are a different matter, and for those we will walk you through the architecture, the approach and the outcome on a call.
A build with the specification it was held to. It is a useful example because the client was not building for themselves, they were building something to rent out, which changes what the software has to do.
Note the staging. Part one was scoped as a deliberately small paid test before anything larger was shared, and delivering it is what opened the rest. We would rather earn a bigger brief than be handed one.
Free, with an engineer. If there is no defensible edge, or no viable product in it, we say so then.
Architecture, milestones and a fixed price, agreed before any build.
Milestone demos against your own data. Nothing touches capital untested.
A documented codebase your own developers can maintain. Retainer optional.
Either. Where there is a clear use case and real distribution we will sometimes take equity and build alongside you, that is how CF Trading works. Otherwise it is a normal fixed-scope engagement.
You do. On a fee engagement you own the product, the code and the audience outright.
Scoping call in week zero, written specification inside two weeks, then a milestone-demo build. A first sellable version is typically months, not weeks, we would rather say so up front.
A specialist reads every enquiry, not a sales team. Bring your rules, your current setup and your constraints, and we will tell you what we would build and roughly what it takes.
